Valerie Jolliffe

Valerie Jolliffe sits on the board as the representative for the Kinetique Biomedical Seed Fund and also acts as Finance Director/Company Secretary. Valerie is co-founder and Chief Executive of Javelin Ventures, which manages the Kinetique university challenge seed fund for biomedical sciences from King’s College, London and Queen Mary, University of London. She also manages the Heptagon Proof of Concept Fund, a pre-commercial fund for life sciences with funding from the LDA, covering eight institutions in London. Valerie sits on the board of the Iceni University Challenge Fund, is on the board of the British Business Angels Association, is a member of the DTI Small Business Investment Taskforce and is a trustee of St Mary’s Paddington Charitable Trust.
